Our Beginning:
The Church was born out of three different spiritual revelations to the founder, Pastor Felix Romimora, from the Good Shepherd Himself - Jesus Christ. These revelations emphasized on what makes the three-way pillar of the church today namely PREACHING, PRAYER, PRAISE. With this spiritual mandate in mind, The Peculiar Family Worship Center started in Orlando, Florida in September 2001, as a house fellowship. Officially registered in March 2005, the church moved to a hotel conference room and finally to its present worship center.
Our Mission:
Our mandate is to bring lost souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, while continuing to nourish believers to spiritual maturity, through the three-way pillars of PREACHING, PRAYER, PRAISE – Matthew 28:19-20.
Our Vision:
To establish a spirit filled and true worship church where both the saved and yet to be saved will always come into, to have unforgettable worship experience – John 4:24
To raise family oriented, Christ centered, God dependent, and heaven focused Christians through thorough indoctrination of the Word, dependability on prayer and habitual praise.
Below are our beliefs
We believe in the existence of only one God, the creator of heaven and earth and all creatures that are in them, both visible and invisible.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is God revealed in flesh, born of the Virgin Mary and He came to save the world from sins. We believe in His redemptive work for all mankind through His death and resurrection.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person in the TRINITY. He has the same power and glory with God the Father and God the son. The Holy Spirit teaches, speaks to us and bears witness in us. He empowers us and endows us with spiritual gifts.
We believe that all the Scripture both Old and New Testaments are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We also believe that the Bible is the written and revealed will of God to mankind, useful for our reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.
We believe in the baptism of every saved soul as commanded by our Savior, Jesus Christ and that all saved souls should receive Water Baptism by Immersion in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
